These images are digital collages assembled on my computer from photographic sources and algorithmic elements. I´ve been working with fragments, pieces and bits of images. In particular, fragments of human form from sculpture and extreme close-ups of flowers. I process, combine and layer the results to create a very rich image-space which I explore to find the moods I´m looking for. By `image-space´ I mean a range of possibility, a complex and multi-dimensional space of possible images. More of this, less of that, a different juxtaposition and the mood changes. Combining and re-combining, layering and manipulating, I find a glimpse of something. Then I compose and edit the image to capture that glimpse. Sometimes it works, and I keep it. Sometimes it doesn´t, and I start again.
